 Pozza history begins in the second mid of 1800, when Ermenegildo Pozza, making use of the falling water of the turrent that descends from the hills of the Little Dolomites, started to use the motive power, and founded in Recoaro Terme the Pozza Sawmill and Joinery.
From then on, the factory was conducted by son Giuseppe and nephew Dario, which started around 1950 to design and manufacture playgrounds.
In the ‘60s, under the direction of Piergiulio Pozza, the playground manufactoring, mostly metallic, was increased and differentiated (from those years goes back the origin of the first spring horse).
In the ‘80s, after sons Franco, as Technical Director, and Dario, as Marketing Director, joyned the Company, Pozza started a new line of playgrounds made of wood, answering to an increasing request of items made of this material. For this reason a new facility was opened, with the design and manufactoring located in S.Quirico di Valdagno.
During those years also the branch dedicated to sceneries and scenographies on request started, which brought us to impressive and peculiar realisations. Actually we are cooperating with some of the biggest amusement and theme parks of Italy, like Gardaland or Natura Viva.
In the ‘90s, to crown the great care we always posed on safety, we certified, among the firsts in Italy, games and activities following the rules of TUV Germany DIN 7926 (UNI 1176 1177 had yet to come)
In 2000 we reached the ISO 9001 and our technical director received from the TUV the diploma of UNI 1176/7 expert, for new designs and maintenance programs.
In addition to safety, another issue that Pozza always took care of, is the environment. In this direction in 2006 we added to our certifications the ISO 14001 and PEFC-FSC, studied for the use of wood coming from susteinable deforestation.
We are actually able to design, develop and manufacture complete plygrounds from the scratch, following the regulation in force, starting from 3D drawings up to the assistance for installation with periodical inspections and maintenances..
